New

His mercies are new every morning.

This is the day that the Lord has made.

Today is new with "no wrinkles in it."

I find myself regularly marveling at and thanking Him for His plan to give us fresh beginnings every morning - and even more often, whenever we need it! Whoosh! Just like that, the slate is wiped clean and we get to start all over. Kind of like those Etch-a-Sketch toys: one swipe and the mistakes are gone!

I like that part of new. There are no dings, no scratches, no mars in the paintjob. Just fresh and clean.

Now that is a pretty good deal. Me - fresh and clean any time I want. Amazing if you ask me!

Darlene,

I was just enjoying your web journal for the first time. I saw your idea about Shakespeare. We have done Shakespeare at home for the last 2 years. Peter and Kelly have done Romeo and Juliet and Julius Ceasar. I use a book called the Complete Guide to Shakespeare's Plays and love it! I'll show it to you today when you bring Livy home from the party.

blessings to you,
Mary Buchanan

Speaking of new...In your "Family" links "Danica Sinclair" is no longer, but is now "Danica Dunphey." I'm sure Ryan can take care of the change. :-)

There are evenings in which, looking back on the day spent, I CLING to the promise that a new day brings new mercy. "Cover my mistakes & my wrong attitudes, Lord! Lead me in righteousness today!!"

One day's trouble is enough - tomorrow brings its own, yes?

As always, thanks for your thoughts...

Love you!
