Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds was scheduled to arrive tomorrow just before noontime. Lunch out, a visit at Crane with a favorite professor, then a return to the homestead with a houseful of family, food, and music have all been crossed off our calendar.

Old Man Winter flexed his muscles, causing airlines to cancel flights which promised to deliver this very special man to Northern NY. No alternatives were found which would get him "in and out" quickly and efficiently. (He has a tight schedule with commitments hemming him in on the other side.)

So Old Man Winter flexes, and we learn flexibility. Some days I'm eager for school, some days I'm not. Busy schedules will allow a trip to be planned for April, but no sooner.

*sigh* I love winter and it's unpredictability -- usually...

ahhhh. sigh.
such are the disappointments of life.

I am trusting along with you that God will continue to keep all things in His hands. No opportunity is missed when we are His.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers for my sister and our families. That means so much to me. Prayer is of utmost importance to me and plays such a vital role in my life.

Our family continues to go through storms in our lives and even though the boat rocks way too much at times, I know our mighty Lord is always here with me/us to calm the waters and steer us in the right direction away from harms way.

Mornings have been tough ones for me with the Fibromyalgia and tiredness that accompanies that, thus it is a struggle to get myself going...some days are better than others. All in all I remain in Him, seek Him at all times, that is where I find my peace, comfort, grace, joy and so much more.

I've been keeping up with your family for a long time through reading all of your blogs and I'm so happy to hear that Danica and family will be just up the street from all of you. Family, it's a beautiful thing...something that I hold dear to my heart too and grandchildren...they are the absolute best ever.

Again, thank you precious friend. My love to you and your family,
Nancy C.

@Randi -- Babyface is interested in working with Julia. He is a producer now and is exploring all kinds of genres and new sounds. He saw Julia on a video and really liked her, met her once and now wants to meet the family! Cool, huh?!

I noticed he plays left-handed. Is that unusual?
